I have a confession. I’m a terrible baker! If I make a sponge it comes out like a biscuit. Don’t get me wrong I love to bake, it’s just that I’m not very good at it at all! However, I do have a four year old little Chef in the making. He absolutely loves creating concoctions in the kitchen. So we couldn’t have been more happier when we were asked to review Nadiya’s Deluxe Baking Set; a wonderful new baking kit range specifically designed for kids by Nadiya Hussain from the Great British Bake Off.

Why we love Nadiya’s Baking Set for kids

Nadiya’s Deluxe Baking Set has everything you need to create some delicious treats in the kitchen. Designed for kids, the quality is so good I’ve actually found myself using some of the equipment when making dinner (don’t tell my son – haha)!

My son was particularly proud of his apron, which is bright and stylish with a fabulous colour block design. It made him feel like a real chef! He has also had so much fun measuring out ingredients with the measuring spoons, stirring and whisking cake mix together and cutting out ginger bread men with one of the three cookie cutters provided.

We love this kit because it’s such great quality. The bright colours naturally appeal to kids, but this isn’t some sub standard equipment because it’s made for kids. Each item included is actually a proper bit of kitchen equipment. It’s not ‘pretend’ we are showing our kids that they can be trusted and are worthy of owning their own baking set (as previously mentioned some of the set seems better than mine)! What better way to encourage our kids to get creative in the kitchen!

What’s more Nadiya had included some recipe cards from her Bake Me A Story Recipe Book so when it comes to rubbish bakers like me, I don’t need to worry. We have the equipment we need for these recipes in the kit. They are easy to follow and a lot of the ingredients I already have in the cupboard!
