I’ve put this guide to alternative Easter gifts for children together, not because I’m against eating chocolate at Easter. In fact I’m all for it, especially if there’s an egg or two for me in it! However, when you know your little one is guaranteed to get a pile of Eater eggs from friends and family that’s bigger than them, you may prefer not to add to that pile. Love the gruffalo cook book, that must have some great things in. And who doesn’t love a jelly cat soft toy??!! A few years ago for easter we gave our little lady that bunny and our twin boys the lamb and they adore them. We always try and include a book in amongst the rest of their chocolate!
I was never that keen on easter eggs growing up so my parents used to buy me alternative treats, which was so lovely. These are such cute ideas.

My birthday is the end of March so I always got Easter eggs as birthday presents. I felt I missed out especially as I shared the eggs with my father who loved chocolate. I would have rather had a book.

These are great ideas! I’m trying not to give a lot of chocolate to my three year old, so instead we’re going with things she can do outdoors – bubbles, sidewalk chalk, balls, etc.

Last weekend when I went for grocery, the store was all turned like Easter egg hunt with lots of candies. This is such a great alternatives to keep the kids away from candies. I love that stuffed bunny.
