I couldn’t start my list without mentioning the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando, since it’s where we’ll be staying for our trip. This official Walt Disney World resort partner ranks high on my list for a reason. 

• Shuttle Service to the Disney theme parks? ✔️
• Fabulous kickbacks (think free hot food buffet and evening snacks, free buffet breakfast with Mickey waffles, three free daily alcoholic drinks during evening kickback, free popcorn, free soda and hot drinks) for cost savings? ✔️
• Extra perks like early entry to the parks as part of the Disney magic? You bet.

It’s located right near Disney Springs, with spacious guest rooms, modern facilities, and even free Wi-Fi. My son is already excited about the pool area, and for us parents? The chance to save on meals means more money for splurges like those iconic Mickey ears or a treat at the parks. Plus you can see the Epcot fireworks from this hotel and you might even get lucky and get a firework view room! • Plan around the best features for your group, like a short drive to other attractions such as Seawrold Orlando, or flat-screen TVs for rainy days.
• Before you book, check to see if there are additional Resort Fees. Resort fees are extra charges added by many hotels, typically covering amenities like Wi-Fi, pool access, gym facilities, or even parking. These fees are often mandatory and not included in the initial room price, which can catch travellers off guard. On average, resort fees range from $20 to $50 per night, but in some luxury locations, they can exceed $100.
