Does anyone else have little ones who love Paw Patrol but hate learning? My son can most definitely be a reluctant learner at times which is why these Paw Patrol Learning toys from Trends UK are such a fab idea. Read on for my review…and a chance to win a Paw Patrol learning toy too!

Ryder to the rescue with the Paw Patrol Smart Phone

As you probably know if you read my blog I love imaginative play! Now combine imaginative play with educational play and you’re on to a win! The Paw Patrol Smart Phone is perfect for little Paw Patrol fans. Retailing at just £11.49 it makes a great Christmas gift too.

Your kids can lose themselves in their imagination by calling Ryder and the pups on their smart phone. There are 10 characters to say hi to and four different activities to keep your child occupied. This interactive toy is not only fun but helps to develop memory, concentration and communication.

I asked my son what he liked best about the Paw Patrol smart phone and he said he liked how he had to tap things when the phone said to tap. Who knew, he could do what he was told – haha!! Another reason I love this learning toy, it does teach kids to follow instructions in a fun and interactive way.

Even our own pup loved pretending to be part of the Paw Patrol!

Paw Patrol Count with Marshall

“Mummy Marshall is my favourite Paw Patrol character!” my son exclaimed excitedly when he saw his amazing new Paw Patrol Count with Marshall.

This is another fun learning toy. It comes with 10 play coins that get inserted into the truck. Marshall talks to your child, asking them to identify a coin by number, colour or the objects on it. Marshall reacts accordingly to each coin that has been inserted for a really interactive and engaging experience for your child.

Although my son is five and can already count and do some addition and subtraction, he does write his numbers the wrong way round when writing them so this is still really helpful for number recognition. He really enjoyed playing with this, I just wish I had it when he was in Reception rather than in Year One as I think he would have benefited from the learning element much more. It would have been perfect for lockdown homeschooling and would have given me some much-needed support when trying to balance helping my son learn, keeping him happy and working full time – all without being able to leave the home!

For anyone with a little one at the first stage of learning, then this is a brilliant toy! In fact all the Paw Patrol learning toys are great for little ones and will support their learning and development.
