So you’ve heard about crypto, maybe even dabbled, but you want to learn more. Me too! My problem is I don’t have time to get my head around it. I mean I’m a mum. I work full time and I have a 6-year-old; when am I going to be able to find time to learn about the best Crypto to invest in and the ‘ins and outs’ of cryptocurrency to make a good profit. But my dream is to achieve a passive income. Would I like to earn money with no effort, even when I’m sleeping? Let me think about that….yes, please. That’s why I am delighted to have found a way to make a passive income from crypto for mums!
Disclaimer: I am not a financial advisor. Please always do your own research before making an investment. When you invest, your money is at risk.
How do you earn a passive income from Crypto when you don’t have the time because you’re a busy mum?

If you’re new to the crypto market and don’t know where to start, or if you’re too busy to monitor cryptocurrency and the crypto marketplace, then don’t worry there is an app that can help. AQRU, has been created by an experienced team of investment, payment and technology experts out of frustration with the difficulty that many people face to generate returns from their cryptocurrency. With AQRU you can either transfer your existing crypto or pay with real money and then earn up to 12% interest on your investment.
The AQRU app and how it works
I have a savings account but the interest is minimal. It’s really not worth using for making money. I’ve tried premium bonds but I very rarely got a £25 win, even when I had £10,000 invested. So how do I make my money stretch further and can I really make a passive income?
That’s where AQRU comes in. It helps normal people like you and me, access cryptocurrency securely and achieves high-interest gains from the cryptocurrency market.
How do they do this?
AQRU lend out their customer’s digital assets to institutional and retail borrowers. They also participate in and support decentralised exchanges. They ensure that their lending to retail investors and institutions is 100%+ collateralised. As a result, this means funds are easily accessible and that returns are paid daily to their customers.
Cryptocurrency returns are seen as a good investment as market participants are willing to pay high levels of interest to borrow assets they struggle to access via traditional needs. Yields may decrease as the crypto market develops and capital becomes more accessible, however, there will also be new opportunities emerging to generate yield to compensate.
How to get started with your cryptocurrency investment
To help demonstrate how easy it is to set up an account, I am using £50 of the fee that I have been paid for this blog post to invest in cryptocurrency via AQRU. I will update you regularly with how much interest I’m earning and the funds available in my account and will come back with a final figure on my original £50 investment in one year’s time. I hope to also continue to add funds to my AQRU account throughout the year.
Step One: Create an AQRU account
This is very easy to do. I entered my email, created a password, verified my email address and I’ve already made £7.58 as AQRU gifts new clients an initial investment, regardless of how much you’re depositing.

Step Two: Verify your identity
This is very easy to do via your phone. Just follow the steps and it only takes minutes to do. Once you’ve uploaded your information you have to wait for the team to verify your identity which says it will take up to 24 hours and then you can make your first deposit. My identity wasn’t verified until a few days later, but I was able to keep in touch with progress via the chat facility and Millie from the team always replied back to me with updates.
Step three: Deposit your funds
Now my account has been verified I can deposit my funds to invest. When I went to Deposit the money I initially selected to pay by card and was surprised to see fees associated with this payment method. This made the whole process a little pointless for me as I’m only investing a relatively small amount and the fee outweighs the investment. However, I soon realised this was my own error! AQRU clearly states fees might apply on card payments but that they are Free for bank transfers or crypto deposits from other platforms. A rookie error but worth noting if you are investing in traditional currency rather than crypto. Make sure you do a money transfer to your AQRU account from your bank rather than using the card payment method.
I transferred £50 initially and was surprised to get an email saying my funds had landed immediately afterwards as there was an initial notification to say it could take 48 hours. It was now time to invest!
Step Four: Invest in cryptocurrency
Now it’s time for the final stage, the investment in cryptocurrency. So far my initial gift from AQRU of £7.58 has already gone up to £7.62 in just a few days – amazing returns on such a small investment.
There were four currencies I could choose from at the time I invested. These are:
- USD Stablecoin
- Ethereum
- Bitcoin
- USD Maple
The USD Maple was closing in 3 days and you are tied in for 90 days. It sounded like potentially a better opportunity but higher risk so I decided to put £25 in USD Stablecoin with an estimated 12% return and £25 in Bitcoin with an estimated 7% return. Funds for both of these cryptocurrencies can be removed daily.
It was easy to invest, a quick and simple process. AQRU also have very handy graphs that chart your investment and returns. Below are my investments and I will report back in 3 months, 6 months and one year to show how these have performed.

So it really is as simple as that! I plan to invest more if it performs well so please stay tuned and follow my blog to see how I do. If you’re considering investing this is a good option with good returns. The perfect way to make a passive income from crypto for mums!
