As you may well know if you subscribe to my YouTube Channel, I love a good charity shop haul. It gives me a chance to update my wardrobe each season without spending a fortune. However, sometimes the clothes I’ve bought are dulled by time so what better way to see if I can refresh their colour than by taking part in the #AceWinterRefresh Challenge

ACE for Colours Powder
First up let me tell you a little bit more about ACE for Colours Powder and why so many people are raving about it.
- It’s a brand new product that ACE have introduced. Add ACE for Colours to your wash for deep cleaning.
- It’s better for the environment. You can cut down on your plastic waste. The Tetra Pak packaging is recyclable. Also instead of providing a plastic scoop ACE suggest you just use a teaspoon – AMAZING!
- It’s active at a 30 degree wash, so again helping the planet – oh and your utility bills.
- It can get rid of stubborn stains, perfect if you have little ones who seem to attract stains! ACE for Colours Powder uses stain removal technology in a concentrated powder format. The active oxygen soaks into the fabric removing even tough stains (such as wine, tea, coffee and fruit).
- Removes odours and works miracles on whites and colours, making it perfect to refresh your clothes and get your winter wardrobe ready.
- You can buy ACE for Colours from a Morrison’s store or buy online from Amazon.
So following another great charity shop haul I decided to give ACE for Colours Powder a go with some of my winters clothes that I had in storage. And wow what a difference. The clothes smell beautifully fresh and look sparkly. Well, for the time being anyway. I’m sure it won’t be too long before my chocolate covered three year old decides to give me a big cuddle. Or my kitten will jump on me, knocking my wine out of my hands. Thank goodness I have ACE for Colours to get rid of the stains!

Money saving tips for your kids winter wardrobe
- Raid the charity shops. There are some real bargains to be found! Check out my Christmas Outfits charity shop haul video below for inspiration. Then all you need is ACE for Colours to remove any musty odours, get rid of stains and refresh the colours.
- Let your kids get creative and upcycle accessories. My son’s wellies were not to his liking. They were too plain so we let him loose with some markers. They are now his favourite accessory on rainy days.
- Buy in bundles. Shop Ebay and Facebook Selling Groups for kids clothes bundles. You can pick up some real bargains. Plus you can then give all the clothes a refresh to make them feel like new with ACE for Colours.

There are few joys in life as good as charity shop raid. Commenting for myself and on behalf of BritMums and thanking you for taking part
I love putting away the summer clothes and get the Winter wardrobe out. Some of it could do with a refresh though!
I always donate to charity shops but hardly ever think to shop in them which is crazy!
I do love a good charity shop raid and we have some fab ones in the affluent areas where you can grab a brilliant bargain!
Anything that helps get deep stains and dirt out is a win in my books, esepicalyly during Autumn and all the forest walks we have – lots of mud
