Another one from Wookey Hole this week…there’s so much to do there! This week’s postcard is from the mirror maze at Wookey Hole.
The twists and turns of the mirror maze is a modern adaptation of the mirror shows that sometimes accompanied travelling fairs in times gone by. This colourful version is somewhat disconcerting. You think you should be going straight on but in fact you’re meant to be turning a corner. The trick is to remember that if you can see yourself directly in front of you, you’re about to walk into a mirror!
If you’ve ever watched the Wookey Hole episode of Most Haunted you may know that the mirror maze is meant to be haunted. It certainly was quite eerie but also lots of fun too. As an add on to the caves, the mirror maze is a great addition to the whole Wookey Hole experience.
